The Great Whales

   There are thirteen species of whale that are considered "The Great Whales" . They are: Blue, Fin Sei Bryde's, Northern Minke, Antarctic Minke Humpback, Gray Southern Right,Sperm Whale, North Atlantic Right, and North Pacific Right Bowhead. Seven of the thirteen Great Whale species are endangered. Unfourtuantely, seven of the thirteen species are endangered. Every day, a whale dies from getting entangled by fishing gear, poisoned by toxics, killed during ship collisions, and they are affected by the climate change in the arctic. These majestic and huge animals die because of us. They are extremely close to becoming extinct.
